After joining the Challenger Group over a year ago, we're excited to say that the transition is complete and MyLife MyFinance is now called Challenger.

As you can see, we've had a bit of a makeover. But that's it. Our team is here for you - same as ever.

Changing our name hasn't changed our focus on serving you - or how you bank with us. Your Internet Banking Service, mobile app, cards and accounts will work just as they do today, with no need to change your password and login details either.

You may have some questions though, so we've developed this page, and some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to help answer them.

Your Internet Banking, mobile app, cards and accounts will keep working as they do today. And if you have a deposit or cheque book, just keep using them.

You will need to add our new banking app to your phone. Doing so is simple: just download from Apple’s App Store or Google Play if you’re an Android user. Search for “Challenger Banking” and look out for our logo. Your User ID and password will not change. 

Our old mobile app will be decommissioned and removed from app stores soon.

Changing how we look won’t affect the banking services you use. Your Internet Banking, mobile app, cards and accounts will keep working as they do today. And if you have a deposit or cheque book, just keep using them.

Yes. You can keep using your existing Visa Debit card until it expires.

You’ll then be issued a new card featuring the Challenger branding to use like you normally would.

If you’d like a replacement card featuring the new branding, you can re-order one via Internet Banking or our mobile app. Or you can call us on 1300 221 479 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm EST/EDT Monday to Friday.

If you’ve saved our old website, we’ll automatically redirect you to our new website. 

Tip: it’s a good idea to update your shortcuts and bookmarks to our new web address.

Accessing your accounts via Internet Banking won’t change.

Yes. Just keep using your current deposit and cheque books until you need new ones. Then we’ll send you replacements issued by Challenger Bank Limited.

Absolutely. All our depositors are protected by the Australian Government’s Financial Claims Scheme. The scheme guarantees deposits held with us up to $250k per customer. For further detail, please refer to fcs.gov.au

We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information will only be disclosed to other entities within the Challenger group to provide you with the best possible service, unless required otherwise by law. You’ll find our full Privacy Policy here.

The short answer is: “Only if they’re relevant to you”.  

This means you may hear from us with news about Challenger or other resources that could be of use to you. If you do not wish to receive marketing emails from us, you’ll be able to unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.  

We’ll also send you regular service-related updates on your active accounts held with us. For example, we’ll let you know if we update the General Terms. We’re required to send these types of communications to you by law, and so you’ll not be able to unsubscribe from these emails.
